(i) Anna Frackowicz (Poland).
Background: Born in 1966 she graduated from the Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Lodz in 1993. M.A. degree in Woven Textile Design, Painting, Sculpture. At present fine arts instructor at the Youth Culture Centre in Lodz. Exhibitions: Solo and collective exhibitions in Poland and Hungary.
Title: Bisons.
Materials and Technique: Wool, linen cotton. Jacquard textile.

(ii) Yeshaa'yahu Isai, Gabbal (Israel).
Background: Born in 1956, he graduated from Shenkar College in 1982 and teaches there since then. Exhibitions: Many exhibitions in Israel, Europe, Asia (since 1982). 3rd ITF Kyoto.
Title: Chrysanthemums.
Materials and Technique: Cotton fabric, stainless steel. Personal technique.
Size: 85 (H) x 540 (W) x 3 (D) cm.
(iii) Francoise Giannesini (France).
Background: Born in 1945. A sculptor. Working with textile and slade. Exhibitions: Group exhibitions in France, Germany, U.S.A., Norway, Holland; Solo exhibition in Paris (1982,85, 94), Lyon (1994).
Title: Steles I (from a suite of variations on Victor Segalen's text).
Materials and Technique: Wool. Knotting sculpture.
Size: 103 (H) x 80 (W) x 46 (D) cm.
(iv) Nancy Gipple (USA).
Background: Born in 1953, she graduated with a B.S. from the University of Winsconsin, River Falls. Lives and works in the St. Paul metro area. She has had many exhibitions, both nationally and internationally.
Title: Recycled Blue Jean Rug.
Materials and Technique: Cotton (used blue jeans and canvas), bonded nylon thread. Machine sewing.
Size: 155 (H) x 215 (W) x 7 (D) cm.
(iv) Tone Hellerud (Norway).
Background: Born in 1953, she graduated with M.A. from the National College of Art and Design. Exhibtions: Taiga (1991); Krysspunkt (1991); International Handwerkmesse (1992); Gold (1994); Solo Exhibition (1993).
